ACTUALLY, Lukas, I bought TWO pairs of shoes - those and another. And truthfully, I didn't notice the copy on the box until I got home - believe me, I bought them at Payless, the box is rarely on display. I've never owned a pair of Converse/Airwalk style shoes.. a first!
I once hopped a cargo ship from Nassau to a small island with two friends. Supposed to take only eight hours, our slow boat journey actually took 17, and when the hotels were completely deserted, we stayed with the craziest Bahamian local who would take us in, named Betty Pinder. After exploring Cartwright's Caves and the blue hole, and spending the day with Betty and Patrice, we took a 45-minute flight back to Nassau the next day on an eight-seat puddle jumper. And that's a true story.

my friend also got some new "kicks." I can't help but laugh when people use that term.
Shocking. Jen bought shoes.
The question is, did the fact that the shoe box was labeled 'kicks', which is pretty awesome, influence your decision to buy said shoes?
One simple word of copy powerful enough to make the shoes much groovier than before.
